Who Are We? Flexible Automation is an automation solution provider armed with more than a quarter century of experience. Our in-house design and build capabilities allow us to provide “turnkey” systems to our customers. Our core competence is the complete integration, both mechanical and electrical, of commercially available automation equipment into custom assembly machines. History Flexible Automation was founded in 1983 by Edward Osterholzer, an experienced electrical engineer with expertise in numerous manufacturing areas. We’ve kept pace with the ever-changing automation technologies, adding robotic and vision system integration to our arsenal. We’ve continued to grow steadily over the years, maintaining a significant number of both large and small companies as satisfied, repeat customers. Our Mission Our Mission is to provide our customers with the means to overcome their manufacturing challenges by developing the best possible automation solution. To accomplish this goal, we strive to rapidly produce an affordable yet innovative automation system that is built with precision and robustness. Present Flexible Automation currently occupies two buildings in Michigan totaling 22,000 sq. ft. We employ approximately 40 people who staff our Mechanical, Electrical, Assembly, Machining, Service, Sales, Accounting, and Executive departments. We manufacture and assemble all of our equipment in-house to ensure total quality control. |
